Arnav Shah, M.P.P., is a researcher working across the Commonwealth Fund’s program areas. In this role, Mr. Shah provides research and analytic support to the Fund’s work in all of its core areas, including working on survey design and analysis, working with staff to develop the research design of grant proposals and future publications, as well as reviewing those proposals or publications. He contributes research and analytic support to publications across the Fund’s program areas. Mr. Shah joined the Fund from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, where he completed a master’s degree in public policy. During graduate school, he worked for the Center for Healthcare Research and Transformation and the University of Michigan’s Center for Value-Based Insurance Design. Prior to graduate school, Mr. Shah was a research assistant in the Health Policy Center of the Urban Institute and a health policy intern for the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and the Center for American Progress. Mr. Shah obtained his B.A. in political science at George Washington University.
