Zara Day, J.D., M.P.H., is vice president in the Waxman Strategies health practice, where her work is focused on helping clients use policy levers in service of advancing equity in health care. Prior to joining the Waxman team, Day co-led a team of policy specialists working to advance the policy goals of a national health care organization. Earlier, she was vice president and counsel at Cavarocchi, Ruscio, Dennis Associates, where she advocated on behalf of patient groups, provider specialty societies, and public health organizations. She also has experience in the advocacy office of Physicians for Human Rights and for the judges of the Boston Juvenile Court. Day earned a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and an M.P.H. from Tufts University.
