Laura Wagstaff is a senior research director in NORC’s Health Care Programs department and a mixed-methods researcher specializing in health communication, program evaluation, and applied research. She has expertise in project management, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, evaluation design, and technical assistance, supporting projects across health care, health insurance, and public opinion research. Since joining NORC in 2020, Laura has led and contributed to studies focused on behavioral health, aging services, health insurance, and health communication. Prior to NORC, she developed and implemented communications strategies for federal health agencies, international nonprofits, academic institutions, and private-sector organizations. Laura holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Marketing and Communications from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Science and Technology Studies from the University of California, Davis.
