Kate Meyer, M.P.H., is senior director of the health practice at Waxman Strategies. She is an expert in analyzing complex health care policies and translating them into digestible content that strengthens advocacy efforts and bolsters education campaigns. Meyer has spearheaded public affairs campaigns and advised industry leaders on policy issues that impact health equity, such as prescription drug coverage and reproductive health care access. She has worked for organizations including the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, the EMAA Project, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Brookings Institution. Most recently, she served as interim executive director for the Girls Gotta Run Foundation. Meyer earned an M.P.H. from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
