Sophie Petti joined the Commonwealth Fund in May 2026 as program assistant for the Policy program. In this role, she supports a range of activities, including grant management as well as policy and impact tracking. Prior to joining the Fund, she was selected for the Virginia Department of Health’s 2026 Internship Academy, where she worked with the Charlottesville-Albemarle Health Department to develop interventions aimed at improving attendance at Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) appointments across five localities. Petti graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in global public health and foreign affairs.
