Project: Patient-Centered Policies for Personal Health Records

Description: Reti sought to explore organizational responses to a set of current issues regarding personal health records (PHRs)--particularly regarding ways to make them more patient-centered--with the aim of making policy recommendations for minimum standards. As part of a wider study, he conducted interviews with senior managers at seven organizations with more than 10,000 registered PHR users. He also explored the personal health record governance arrangements in each of these organizations.
