Project: Consumers in Systematic Reviews: An Exploration of Current Approaches
Description: This project informed the IOM's Committee on Standards for Systematic Reviews of Clinical Effectiveness Research about what is known about consumer involvement in conducting systematic reviews in the United States and key international organizations. The term "consumer" referred broadly to members of the public, patients and caregivers. Kreis conducted interviews and document review at organizations that commission or conduct systematic reviews.
