Project: Addressing Multi-morbidity in Health Care Quality Improvement
Description: Jako Burgers focused on the quality and coordination of care for patients with multiple conditions. He conducted a secondary analysis of 2008 Commonwealth Fund International Health Policy Survey of Sicker Adults on whether patient-reported experiences of care coordination differ based on the number and type of patients' chronic conditions. He also examined the extent to which clinical practice guidelines for prevalent chronic conditions address co-morbidities.
